Saint Alexander of Svir (1448–1553) is the Patron Saint of our monthly giving program.

He was a zealous monk who toiled in asceticism for many years in relative obscurity in the remote north of Russia. The Lord commanded him to build a Church and a monastery.

Moved by his sincerity and by the worthiness of his cause, countless monastics and devout laypeople joined Saint Alexander in his efforts.

Those simple beginnings inspired the building of many other Churches and communities dedicated to God.

Regardless of the amount, your gift is a sacrifice God will accept, Saint Alexander of Svir will honor, and the Seminary will find meaningful.

Your monthly gift will support an education offered by devout and qualified Orthodox teachers, many of whom have given up other opportunities to teach at the Seminary instead.
The Seminary teachers, students, and staff are working together to preserve our Divine heritage and to ensure that the flame of Orthodoxy is passed down to the next generation!
